The Westminster Dog Show is one of the most prestigious shows for dogs and is held every year in New York. At the show, you can witness some of the most amazing dogs from all over the world compete in a variety of categories, such as Conformation, Junior Handling and Obedience. This year’s show will be held on February 11th and 12th and is sure to be a spectacle!
If you have a dog that you think could compete in the show, there are some important things to consider. First and foremost, agility is not one of the categories that is allowed to be entered into the show.
The categories are limited to breed judging, obedience, and junior handling. Because agility is not an included category, you won’t be able to have your dog compete in it at the show.
But don’t let that discourage you from taking part in dog agility with your pooch! There are plenty of other agility events that you and your pup can register for, such as AKC Agility Trials and USDAA Agility Championships.
